Dental Technology San Carlos, CA
We have invested in all of the latest technology to ensure our patients receive the most comfortable and advanced treatment possible. Here are just a few examples of the state-of-the-art equipment that we’re using in our office:
3D Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing System
This revolutionary system makes single visit crown restoration possible. This system scans, designs, mills and creates crowns, inlays and veneers in our office. There is no need for messy impressions, thus, no gagging. There is no need for temporary crowns and the added discomfort of inserting a temporary crown to then have to replace it with a permanent one. Traditional dentists have to send this out to a 3rd party lab, which could mean weeks of waiting for your permanent crown, as well as coming back for a second visit. With this system, you’ll spend less time in the dental chair and more time doing whatever you enjoy.
Waterlase Dental Lasers
This world’s most advanced laser technology provides a much more comfortable experience for our patients. Traditional dentists use the drill, which is invasive and causes pain. With the use of water and the dental laser, you don’t feel anything (not even a vibration). This technology is much more gentle, leads to faster healing and recovery and ultimately results in a much more comfortable experience.
Digital Panoramic X-ray Imaging System
This state-of-the-art 360-degree imaging system is fast, safe and provides the highest level of comfort for people of all ages (even kids as young as 3 years old). Traditional dentists use films, which is uncomfortable and often leads to gagging. They typically also have to take multiple x-rays to get different views of your mouth. With this technology, x-rays now only take a few seconds and there is no gagging since no films are needed. Compared to other x-ray systems on the market, this is also the safest machine on the market (approximately 1/10th of the exposure emitted from traditional x-ray systems). Because of the 360-degree view, it also allows us to get all of the information we need to assess your teeth, bones, TMJ, sinus, head and neck pathology all with just one x-ray image. |
